    WHM server-status URL

By default, Apache server-status is access through /whm-server-status. It can be change to /server-status from httpd.conf file.

However it reverts to /whm-server-status when WHM/cPanel is updated. Is there a way to make it permanent via /server-status?

You should distill the configuration after making changes to httpd.conf file. To change status URL, edit httpd.conf and set new status page path; now run the following commands.

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/apache_conf_distiller --update
Make sure you take a backup of httpd.conf before you run the above commands.
