Lightbulb 1U Colo In USA, suggestions?

    Hi All

We're currently looking for a DC which can house our 1U server.

We don't have specific state requirements, but it must be USA.

    Requirements:
    -1U
    -At least 2amps of power
-At least /25 or 100 IP's as we will run VPS
-At least 10TB BW on at least 1Gbps
    -Budget is under $110

We will use this server http://www.dell.com/downloads/global...spec_sheet.pdf

Any assistance will be appreciated, as most of the offers in the colo advertising section are cabinets, so we had to post here.

    Thanks a lot .

Your budget, is with 100IPs under $110 or just the colo?

Preferably with those IP's at this budget, because I've seen companies with same specs except less IP's at around $60-70/mo.

The only barrier with your requirements is the ips else colounlimited.com is what I can recommend.

I see, but the standard speed is 10Mbps and they charge $50 for 100Mbps, and there is even no 1Gbps option. As you know I'll run around 100 VPS'es so the speed must be fast otherwise it will become a bottleneck.

You should check out what Fiberhub has to offer. They're based in Las Vegas and offer single server colo with on a 1gbps port. They often run special promos in the offers section.

They do have up to 2Gbps as long as you have the budget :-)

Try to click it and you will see the option to upgrade the bandwidth.

I'm in the shopping cart, and can only find 10/100mbps. I'll see what fiberhub can offer.

There are lots of reviews for them, look around or search. The one listed below is on the main page of the colo forum.

    1U Colo In USA, suggestions?

    Hi Andrew,

Your budget looks a bit lower than the one you need for a quality Colo service. The bandwidth would cost around $50 - $60 (depending of the carriers and network), while the IPs would be $60 - $120. I'm sure there are web hosts tat would match you budget, but a reasonable uh argue for the service you need is around $200 per month.
