    domain being transferred

Usually how much time takes for a transfer between diferent registrars?
And how to know what is the status of the transfer in the cpanel / account of the outgoing registrar?

    Regards!

If it's not done within 24-48 hours, then I'd definitely contact your domain registrar, only they will know the current status and they'll be able to assist you further.

Make sure the domain's unlocked prior to the transfer for at least 24 hours.

Make sure to confirm the transfer with the gaining registrar first and foremost.

Make sure to confirm it with the losing party after confirming it with the gaining registrar.

That depends on the registrar you are transferring to. When I recently transferred my registrar, Have to pay for at least one additional year at the new registrar, but you won't lose the years you've already paid for even if those years were paid to a previous registrar. This is an ICANN rule, and all registrars must follow it.

FYI, Namecheap is an eNom reseller - and as you said and despite that, it's excellent; and ICANN is not a domain seller, but simply the non-profit "otganizations" who coordinates domain names, IPs and such.
    My "ranking" is kidding.
I'm just a humble client, here to seek help and guidance from the true experts.

Agreed. I use Dynadot myself but from the acclimation here on WHT Namecheap also is a good choice. They're both ICANN accredited.

They also resell domains through Enom.
Or they did not that long ago.

I use namecheap also and they've been brilliant, apart from one time when I lost a domain name due to not receiving their renewal emails.
