What Coffee Mug Are You Drinking Out Of?

I broke my mug this morning, I'd been using it for two years. It was a Portal 2 mug with the Aperture logo from the 70s. If you don't get the reference, no issue. I've attached an image from ThinkGeek.

While I do have other, plain mugs, I'm looking through Amazon to find a new one and thought about what kind of mugs people around here use.

So go on, share your cup o' Joe.

Mines a camouflage mug like the one in the attached pic. My dad bought it for me. It came with a thermos as well just like in the pic.

That's ginormous. Assuming you drink coffee, doesn't it get cold by the time you hit the bottom?

Yup, takes around 8 cups or so. Keeps it hot pretty well, as it's insulated, but I like it hot, cold and all points in between so it's all good. I don't use any milk in it, so even the next morning it's tasty.

How long would it take you polish off that mug and how many do you generally drink in a day?

Re: What Coffee Mug Are You Drinking Out Of?

The mug I always use at the office is a plain white one with a B on and at home one I had brought for me as a present from a holiday with Benjamin on it and the meaning of the name.

Can't get mixed up with others then, but in the average day I have 15+ mugs of coffee. Down from 30+ a day 5 years ago.

I'll generally finish that once a day as an average. I try not to have any coffee past like 5PM, though, unless I *need* to stay up half the night. So while I don't chug that, preferring to sip all day, there are times....

This is one of two mugs I drink out of. I usually use that in the morning and this one pictured below in the evening. Green tea w/ mint and local honey. Messy desk, sorry.

If I drank that I probably would have trouble sleeping, two cups of coffee for me on a morning does the trick for me.

I use a regular mug without nothing on it... but seeing the cool mugs you guys have ( especially the Portal 2 one ) I might just buy one from ebay.

YES. Yes it is. You'll get life in prison if you don't drink at least one cup of coffee per day.

Guess I'm going to prison... I hardly drink coffee... though I do own a Keurig if that helps

As far as mug... well, I have a bunch of different mugs, mainly one that has One bean, two bean, three beans more on the side of it. (nice tall one)
    Nothing here right now.

I enjoy coffee out of our very own Big Brain cups! I don't drink as many as 15 cups of day but probably close to 2 or 3. Like others have mentioned, I will drink it at any temp so I drag out the cups of coffee. However, I do not drink the same cup of coffee the next day.

I'm sorry, but I think the keyboard you're using in that picture deserves a thread for discussion on its own.

My daughter just got me a mug that has a cartoon family and says Love you daddy on it, so its the mug I have been using for coffee since.

My GF gave me this huge mug when she went to Disney World with her family. My favorite character from my favorite movie of all time, Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack Skellington. I use it everyday for coffee, water, coke, whatever I feel like drinking. The handle broke off but it's still quite usable.

I have a few of those myself.

I usually make coffee when I get in, although the past couple weeks I've been going to Starbucks or Dutch Brothers on the way in...then yesterday I realized I'd spent about $40 bucks for 10 cups of coffee.

Coffee maker sits atop a decade-old PowerEdge chassis.

I too have a Big Brain Global Networks mug, but I don't drink out of the same mug everyday. I rotate between 7-8 mugs.

I use one as well to start my day. We do however need to look into getting bigger mugs next year. These 8 oz ones dont cut it. We need it in the 2-4 gallon size
