    * IP address restriction with cloudflare

    Hi,
I am using WHMCS with CloudFlare and I want to secure the admin area by restricting the ip addresses..

I tried this but it doesn't work:

    SetEnvIf X-FORWARDED-FOR 123.456.789.123 allowedip
    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    allow from env=allowedip

    May Litespeed cause the problem?

    If you enable this feature:
    http://www.litespeedtech.com/index.p...pInProxyHeader
    https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en...eSpeed-server-

It will automatically process the header and you won't need to do anything special.
    This will work after:

    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    allow from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
And all of your logs/etc will be correct.

Thanks so much, Steven. Since I am just a reseller I talked to my web host to enable this feature.

Ok, my web host confirmed that it is enabled with litespeed now, but it still doesn't work. It still blocks the whitelisted IPs.

I installed whmcs on a subdomain and put the .htaccess into the admin folder. Did I miss something?
