    Choopa is a few hundred miles closer to London, hence the lower latency on that specific route.

    ColoCrossing's network in Buffalo is Level3, XO and Telia as of yesterday (Cogent was removed, leaving 3 very high-end carriers).

    Take that into consideration when considering your options.

    You can go with Choopa/Constant directly, they are excellent, I had a rental with them for almost a year then I switched to a colo, and I've had nothing but solid (100%) uptime and excellent support.

    If I was you I would be very careful with any server that is perhaps hosted by Colocrossing because of their massive spam issues.

    Actually both are pretty high, from servers on east coast especially in new york area back to your IP should be between 72-85ms maximum.
