rlshosting.com / easyhosting.pw shut down
My sites went down yesterday around 5PM EST. I Emailed support about them, asked if they could look into it. After 2 hours I received a reply of "Yes".
I've been waiting all day, have sent numerous Emails and have been ignored. I came looking at WHT and didn't see anything, so I goggled the new "branding" of easyhosting. Went to their site and see this
We're Sorry. After 5 years of service(rlshosting.com,easyhosting.pw), we are unable to provide service period and the backups were on the same datacenter too. We ran out of money and we cannot pay our server bills. Our Servers are suspended. You can believe what you want but we didn't spend your money for fun. It wasn't fun at all. Thank you for your business and we are very sorry.

You're Welcome. No wonder I don't reply especially to things like this.

As for being shut down, I don't think anyone will take it lightly. That's why I prefer to not to say anything. This is my last message. Good luck in your future hosting world. I am done for real. I need to find a better job than this crud. Everything goes wrong no matter how hard I try.

Real professional. I had to go searching to get an answer since you couldn't even have the decency to reply to an Email. You're hosting marketing sites that are ranked #1 on google, and the lack of professionalism from you is insane. You first deleted stuff off of my accounts without permission, then you had my sites down for almost a week since you were so intelligent to delete all of your customers data off the servers. After that you move me to a server that is so overloaded that they would time out for 3/4 of the day. Now you get shut down and can't even let your customers know what happened?
You should be banned.

Something tells me this is about to get interesting.
That being said if you knew this was a possibility you absolutely should have taken backups and moved them to a different provider.. or heck, even an external hard drive next to your dvd collection.. anything that could have helped the customers with this situation. Even that wouldn't be acceptable but a small step in the right direction.

I found it ironic that M Bacon was advertising his services just 3 days ago on WHT. Usually when you know you're about to get shut off due to non payment, you know well in advance and a I'd assume a normal businessman would give their clients a heads up, I know I would if I was in that situation, but maybe I'm alone.

Just looks bad to state the above, market your services as recently as September 30 - and now - you figured out that you couldn't pay your bills? Treat your customers with a bit more respect, after all they are the ones paying our salaries...

The level of immaturity and unprofessionalism showed in this situation by M Bacon is just unbelievable.
It's a shame .. it really is. I truly feel sorry for everyone affected and hope everyone has backups.

This is a real shame.
What I don't get, is not why just sell off the clients at least. You could have made a small profit, and clients (most likely) will not get screwed over, as they would handed over to someone else.
This always boggled my mind when hosts do this.

Out of every business in our industry, I wouldn't of thought a reputable member would be closed down . Well I can't say much, on how you do business but good luck in the future outside our industry M Bacon, and I hope the customers find a new home. Sadly this happen a lot.

If this is how you, M Bacon, are going to handle this type of situation I would strongly suggest you never start your own business again. You clearly do not have the competency to properly run a business.
There are certainly a lot of things up to this point you could have done to salvage things. The sheer fact that you simply gave up rather than working to resolve your issues or to at least make sure your customers are kept in the loop reflects extremely poorly upon you.
The least you could have done is to give some heads-up to your customers so that those that don't keep their own backups could get them.
I have to say, I'm disappointed in you. This isn't a bad industry to be in and this isn't a bad job.
Please - if you start another business in the future - stay out of our industry.█ Michael Denney - MDDHosting.com - Proudly hosting more than 37,700 websites since 2007.

You should always inform your customers of this before hand.
I was with a host years ago and lost data when they shut down without notice. "Yes I should have had backups".
I wished they would've at least informed me a few days before the shutdown so I could take a backup and move elsewhere.

It’s go to show that doesn’t matter how long you have been in business, with poor planning you can go belly up at anytime. Sad and I feel sorry for his clients!
