2CO is a joke - not a valid reason to close account
I am very disappointed with 2co because 1 week ago they closed our account without a valid reason. Its very strange to me because we didn't get a single chargeback or claim within last 6 months. 2CO added the following comments.
Details: Our banking partners regularly review purchase activity on all accounts to ensure that fraudulent activity is kept below the minimum standards set by Visa and MasterCard. During their most recent review, your account was flagged because the percentage of your buyers that reported their transaction as fraudulent exceeded this standard. Unfortunately, due to your volume of fraudulent activity, 2Checkout will no longer be able to support payment processing on your account. In order to allow you time to find another processor, we will keep your account open until Wednesday, September 25th . Until then, you can continue processing your payments through 2Checkout. Please note that your account will be closed with read-only access as of 1pm EST on Wednesday September 25th. After we have closed your account you will still be able to review your sales information, but will no longer be able to process payments. We apologize that we must end our partnership, and hope that this time will allow you to find an alternative solution for your business needs. If you have any questions, please contact us at risk@2co.com.

Sometimes they have valid reasons , sometimes they do not. But at the end they will always close your account. Time for you to find a reliable partner (they are saying the same in the good-buy letter)

Thanks for your post, I don't want to work with them anymore but its really a joke to me. I just searched on WHT and find lot of posts regarding this issue they closed too many web hosting provider accounts within past few days why is this?
Looks like that 2CO is JOKE!! Simply i can say just stay away from 2CO.Build your dream otherwise someone will hire you to build their dreams.

This isn't just a 2CO thing. Any payment processor will close your account for excessive chargebacks.

Welcome to the 2CO club mate, everyone is in the same boat as you. I didn't have any chargebacks, just 6 refunds.

Your options are Either Stripe or Paypal Payments Pro... that's where everybody is headed... I have both but current use Paypal Payments Pro because I find them to be more reliable due to their long term in the industry... by my understanding stripe is still fairly new.

I've been with 2CO for 6 years and got no troubles. The only problem is the high fee. I think there must have a valid reason for your case.

If you call 1% high rate ... It is a JOKE
Another news for you, sometimes the real owner of the service forget about it and go to the bank and make a chargeback.. Happened a lot of times.
Another funny story, customer buy Joomla extension. See on his statement extension bla bla. Saying I never ordered hair extension ... Bam - CHARGEBACK.
We got 6 chargebacks from one card only from Brasil. Went into our 2CO terminated.

Mike IF refund is reason then i think i will have to leave online business and start something in local market or we will not offer refund to clients. Now my idea is selling bananas, mango or will open cloth store what do you think?? not a bad idea haha 2co is just a joke to me after this action.

We've used 2CO as an additional payment option for years and have never had any issues with them aside from the transaction fees being a little high.

After 2 years they have closed our account without any warning or any valid reason. we have switched to Plimus, hopefully this one works the way that we expected.

Have 2co responded to you when you asked for proof that there was to many chargebacks? What did they say?

Call them, I'm pretty sure false positives are being sent out everywhere. We just had an email pop up about failure to fill out the tax forms, which we did in November of last year and even verified them again in April of this year.
