Corelink / Zayo - chicago issues
We just moved into the Mt. Pleasant Corelink facility on Friday Sept 27th, which was recently acquired by Zayo (sometime after we signed the agreement).
We asked for a /25, and was told it will be no problem so long as we can justify them per ARIN guidelines. However, we are in, and have now been told that they don't have any IP's to assign due to some issue with them now being owned by Zayo. Best case, we can get a /26 (not the /25 we justified) - worst case it may take until November because of some network issue!?
To top it off, response has been dismal at best to my questions for timelines.
So, a few questions.
1) If you use Corelink or Zayo colocation, are you happy with your overall experience?
2) I'm may be pulling the plug on this DC if they don't have a timeline identified by tomorrow morning for assigning us our IP. Any recommended DC's for a single rack, in the CHI area? Latisys was another on my short list.

i have had a few racks at http://www.continuumdatacenters.com/ for close to 3 years now and you should have no problem getting a /25 form them for a single rack.
if you have any questions about the facility hit me up i always have 5 min to chat.

Just a quick update.
I was provided /26 last night. Although not the /25 we justified, it will likely suffice until they work out whatever issues I'm experiencing due to the acquisition.
Thanks for those that reached out via phone, PM, and comments!MNX.io - 100% SSD Cloud Hosting, and Linux server management.

A quick Google search on that facility results in the following, FYI.

There are 2 buildings (one old, one new) owned by two different LLCs. The older building is the LLC that is in bankruptcy, not the newer building, which we are in.
The older building is likely to be sold, if anyone is interested in a good deal on an existing facility.

We got 100mb transit from Zayo in Memphis which backhauls everything to Chicago. Not impressed with the network at all thus far. First everything would peer in NY, they got that fixed but now I see daily latency spikes between certain networks, right now at least it is between Zayo and AT&T. Also having poor download throughput issues, but that I think is more of a localized issue (NID or something) that I am trying to work with them on. Have another site in Memphis with TWTC and so far I would rate them much higher than Zayo.
