    * WHMCS Admin Not Accessible

    Hi friend,
Recently our VPS server was taken down due to a legal abuse of a client.
Now DC have activated backup server while new server is being installed.
When I am going to WHMCS admin area it give following message-

"Your license key xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is invalid. Possible reasons for this include:

The license key has been entered incorrectly
The domain being used to access your install has changed
The IP address your install is located on has changed
The directory you are using has changed"

So what should I do in order to access the admin area because old IP address can't be retrieved now.
Only IP has been changed in above message. I can't be issued a new license key as this was a reseller license.
    Please help.
    Thanks

Please ask your license issuers to re-issue your license.

Ask the reseller you got it from?

You don't require a new license key, just for your current key to be reissued (when you license WHMCS, they store which IP and directory it's licensed to. As this IP has changed, ask whoever issued your license to reissue it.

When you first install whmcs it registers the IP. In order to use whmcs on a different IP you will either need to have the company that provided you with the licence reissue it, or purchase a new licence.

That department MAY reissue the key for you. It's designed for reseller support issues.

    Hi,
Our reseller support department is for technical support only, they will not be able to reissue the license. Such issues are handled by your reseller.

    WHMCS Admin Not Accessible

Aaaand THIS is why you deal with software companies directly, not resellers
If you were a WHMCS customer, you could go into your client area, reset the license and move on

Did you recently change hosts, or add a dedicated IP to your account (which WHMCS is residing under)? If so, that would probably cause the issue

Yes, the server was taken down due to a legal abuse and we are hosting right now on backup server with different IP.
Old IP can't be reactivated anymore.

    WHMCS Admin Not Accessible

If it's with the same data enter / provider, contact them to get the license deactivated. WHMCS can't help you here
If it's with a new provider, you're going to have to pony up and buy a license, unless said new provider has an arrangement with WHMCS
