    I need Linux VPS recommendations

    Hello,
I live in Brazil and I've had some "not so good" experience with some providers in the last months.
I need a VPS with prefereably these features:
    - My budget: maximum $40 a month ($30 or $35 would be great).
    - US only! East or central area.
    - cPanel included.
    - Management included.
    - SSD storage would be nice, 20 GB, 30 GB maximum.
    - RAM 1 GB or more.
    - 2 IP addresses.
    - XEN or KVM virtualization only.
    - This is fundamental, since this has been the problem I've run into most frequently: I need GOOD and FAST (!!!) support. I'm tired of sending support tickets and waiting 2, 3, 4 ,5 hours to get a reply. I need a response time maximum 30 minutes.
    - I donīt really care about bandwidth, port speed etc. The above features are the ones I really look for.
    ******
    Thank you all very much!
Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Interserver.net has excellent response times. I would check them out.

Bases on your requirements, I would say go with liquidweb.com

nicols, supremeservers and wiredtree have great support, both answer tickets in 30 minutes or less.

They are just a little outside my current budget.

liquidweb's cheapest VPS is $50 without cPanel, that's not even close to my requirements.

For a 30 minute support SLA - you'll only find it at high prices.

Yes, wiredtree is great. Maybe I'll raise my budget and go back to wiredtree.

    Thanks.

That would be your best bet, don't think anyone else could provide a great service.

I was thinking of Hostigation.com but these packages are un-managed and not SSD.

Have you looked at Burst.net they have XEN and SSD VPS packages? i think they have a 25% coupon code but not sure when this runs to.

With these requirements I'd say you'd need to increase the budget

I dont think wiredtree offers XEN/KVM (though I could be wrong).

If you absolutely need XEN/KVM AND need it fully managed AND need cpanel - I think your budget is too low

I think you could get 2 out of your 3 requirements for that budget - ie) xen/kvm + cpanel and self managed (vs managed) or managed + cpanel + openvz/virtuozzo (vs xen/kvm)

if you want all 3, I think your budget needs to to be higher

Virtuozzo providers is not going to help much

I was also considering BigScoots, but since I am a previous Wiredtree client, I know they have the greatest support. And also, I get more from Wiredtree for the same price. So, I guess I'll return to Wiredtree, since I got screwed over by the last 2 companies I tried to work with.
