Just stick with a known name in domains such as godaddy.

Yes stick with a known name.
Be sure that they have a control panel for the domain and good support. (Email them to check it)

If you are going to use enom, use a reseller. For example http://www.namecheap.com or http://www.registerfly.com they both have many features for the dollar.
