Sorry if I am not posting in the right forum place but I have a question.
A while ago I was renting a VPS from a hosting provider. I then redirected a doamin name (Lets say example.com) and that is where my plethora of issues arrived.
Following this and my removal of their service I get many, many complaints that apparently the domain name still redirects to an old service. This, as you can imagine, prevents me from running a proper website when this arises.
I have ZERO redirects to this website and have contacted them about this issue yet they claim its only "my side." I have already myself cleared my cache as well as several other people. This redirection seems to be sporadic as one week its find and then for hours it isn't.
Anyone have any ideas that I can try out? I'm fresh out...
It seems the nameservers are playing there. Have you checked your domain via any DNS checker ? This issue will occurs if you didnt remove old NS entries from registrar end.
I did look into cPanel and found under the "Advanced DNS Zone Editor" an old record redirecting to the VPS's old IP. I deleted it yet I still see the redirection. No doubt that in a few hours it will change.
