I have vps node with dacentec
i have create some cpanel/whm vps on node
This is second time when dacentec received any alert that any site hack they null rout vps IP,
never saw like this experience before if site hack ip will null rout
i know its my and my customer responsibility to make safe site from hacker, but it can happen any where
but i think they must give a time 12hrs to suspend or remove hackers files, what you guy think ?
Dacentec has been pretty lenient to work abuse issues out with customers in the past, but not sure about what their policy is now.
i know if site hack hacker will do wrong, may be pishing or any other legal thing but con't understand what is the reason to add IP in null and down all site under vps
is that phising site? if yes that would normal for datacenter to nullroute an ip because phising espesially for budget
They take abuse requests seriously. I think that 12 hours is a bit harsh, they should at least give you 24 hours. But those things need to be dealt with right away to avoid a null route.
