Question Regarding a Dell PowerEdge C6100
Hello everyone. I am thinking about buying a Dell PowerEdge C6100. I plan to run all 4 nodes with dual hex-cores. I have called around to a couple colocation places and I haven't been getting a straight answer. I need to know how many amps of power it's going to take to run this machine. I have been getting a consensus of 3-4amps and one guy told me its going to take 3 amps PER node which comes out to 12 amps. Can someone please help me with this?
Thank You,

The dual hexacores (assuming you are using dual L5639s) will pull about 8.5 amps for the entire chassis at 100% load with a single HDD in each node.

Ours average 110 watts each. At 120v that's 3.6 amps. That's with a single drive in each.

Thank you very much fellas. I am going to approximate at least 10 amps to be on the safe side.
