Worldpay - worth the money or not?
I'm in Australia and I need to sign up with a payment processor for my web hosting business.
Is it worth it go sign up with worldpay or are there other payment processors that are compatible with worldpay.
I like the fact that I get A$ and two other currencies with worldpay.
Any input, advice, suggestions are highly appreciated.
Thanks

I am going to go with them very soon. They seem to be the best option for none USA residents.
if you live in USA then a better option would be echo-inc.com

We have been with them for a while now and I think they have been worth the money.
Good support and documentation also, which is a great bonus.

worldpay has international offices including Australia I believe. Whenever there's a problem or a dispute, being near their office definitely can help you get the problem resolve faster and more efficiently. (compared to commiunicating over the internet), on top of being on the same timeline.
Such logistical issues aside, they are pretty good and has competitive rates.

We use them and have been for around a year now. We are also from australia. However the thing that frustrates me the most with them is the lack of fraud checking.
2checkout is out of the ones I tried the best for fraud screening and worldpay the worst.

That is the most absurd thing I have heard this year. Please sir, you should not sit at your computer for so long as you are squashing your brain. Please stand up and releive some of the pressure.

We've used worldpay for just short of 2 years now. Can't say WorldPay is a hot dish. The fees are not bad.
But WP fraud prevention is a joke and you would never be able to customize them to be completely seamless with your site.
Also lack of advanced features like credit reservation, client side email customization and such make WorldPay look like they're not really focusing on bettering their service.
There's way too many manual tasks and too few automated ones you can carry out at WorldPay.
However, if you are just wanting basic credit card transactions, they're great. They're definitely stronger in one-time cc payments than they are in subscription services.
All in all, based on my experience I give WorldPay 3 out of 5
