SEO and SSL Certificates
Hi all
I recently installed a SSL certificate on my Opencart ecommerce site, and whilst all my pages are http I have set it up so that customer login and check out pages are always https.
However, all of my pages can be accessed via the https so I'm concerned that I now have duplicate pages for my entire site.
Obviously the https pages are not in my site map, and there are no links to the https pages on the site but if Google finds them then they may start indexing them.
Should I be thinking about setting up a redirect from https to http? (not sure how I would do that easily for all pages without redirecting the pages I want to be https?)
Hope thanks makes sense, any thoughts??

I do not think it is considered duplicate content because the URL is same.
Matt Cutts did a video on the subject.Learn About EV SSL Certificates @ evOwl.com
We give a hoot about SSL.

From what I understand
http and https are considered different pages by Google???
I stand to be corrected though? Going to look for the Matt Cutts post / video now.
