Anyone know how to do this or why?
Customer ask about this today.
I have never tried it so I am not sure how or why.
How to mask(cloak) a url from WHM so that web user won't see the actual address forwarded to ?

Won't an add-on domain do that? When I use it, the addon domain shows in the address bar, not the destination URL. Is that what you're looking for?

No I think he wants to redirect to another web site on another server and have it not show the URL.
I already suggested add on domain to him.

Do you control the other server? If so, in WHM can you just park DomainA onto DomainB? Then when pointing to DomainA in your browser, DomainA still shows up, right?

In apache you can use re-write or you can setup a cloaked CNAME record and let dns handle it. If you dont know what those are search google for more info on 'em or refer to the apache documentation and you webppliance documentation.
