Google Chrome, you are pissing me off!
"This webpage is not available"
This started happening for the last week or so...and it's becoming super annoying.
I have to refresh sometimes multiple times for the page to finally load.
This does not happen on FireFox or IE...
I googled this issue and many people are having this issue..and none of the suggestions fixed this.

If you've got a 64-bit PC and OS Waterfox is good. Otherwise go for Firefox IE10 isn't so bad...

I also used to be a Google Chrome user. However it has gone very down hill and started to get really buggy. I have now moved to using Water Fox. Which for me is faster than Chrome and Firefox. Waterfox is built on Firefox however is just like a 64bit version.
You should give it a try .

I didn't really experience this kind a problem but I have a different issue.
I only have 2 gigs of RAM on my PC and when Chrome started to eat most of my RAM then I started using firefox again with no plugins.
It's way better now. I can open 2 FF window with 20+ tabs each without worrying on my RAM. :p

what happens if you hold the shift key and reload? that should bypass the cache.
can you capture some packets of your browsing session when this happens? use something like wireshark, setup a capture filter for port 80 and try to make it fail. i am happy to look at it and help analyze the packets if you dont mind someone else looking at it, just make sure you arent doing anything sensitive.
if you dont see any packets that give a clue, it would suggest something wonky with the browser.

Actually, I just noticed today it happened with other browsers too.
I am using Netgear WNDR4500.
I just rebooted the router and so far I haven't had any issues....lets hope it stays that way.The 47 Ronin Gaming: www.47r-squad.com

FireFox, tool of choice.
I've found Chrome buggy in specific situations that even IE would dance on.
I also find it very interesting that a browser from Big Brother G would have any issues. It should be bullet proof considering "Google it" has become a part of "our" language.

Try SR Iron instead of Chrome. Also, Try unchecking "Predict network actions to improve page load performance" in Chrome too.

Recently I have been getting some pages downloaded while accessing using Chrome. Its downloading some random files with no extension. No issues in Firefox. Weird!!!
When all else fails ... Read the documentation!!!
