I normally don't read spam, but the title "Web Hosts 4 Cash" just caught my eye and I had to read it. I found out that I, that's right, I, {yourname}, could make
CA$H reselling web hosting services.
Being impressed by such an incredibly clever use of the colour green and the delicious pun with the dollar sign, I had to investigate! So I went to the URL:
http://www.webhosts4cash.com
Right away, I could tell this was a company I wanted to deal with. They made the "Join Our Affiliate Program" really easy to find with an AOL "icon"-sized graphic at the top of the page, complete with the bastardized Buster Bunny cartoon character. The bunny was very important to me because it conveyed professionalism, and when I think of affiliating with a web host, I think of rabbits.
I was also impressed with many other features of their website, including their broken link for "Compare", the variety of plans that they have (they have
1 whole plan), and their offering of incoming
and outgoing email. No more one-way emails for me!
I was so impressed with this, I wanted to see what other services I could buy from these people (I could tell they were my new favourite company and I was going to spend thousands of dollars buying all of their associated services). So I clicked on the link on the bottom of the page for
E and K Enterprises. Was I ever impressed! They had so many other services to offer me! I could get all sorts of targetted traffic to my website through their great programs. Not only that, but they had a link to
Fast Action Hosting. Could it be that I could actually order hosting twice from them?
Yes, it could! I was just as impressed with Fast Action Hosting as I was with Web Hosts 4 Cash, even though the sites are so clearly different. Fast Action Hosting offered
five different web hosting plans! Five of them! That's practically unheard of, I tellsya. To sweeten the deal, my old friend the bunny appeared on every page of the website with his inviting smile, head that didn't match the rest of him, and vacant stare.
I just signed up with both hosts because I was so impressed and I got an email back telling me that my account would be set up. Set up! My account! Just for me! No one else. I'm reminded of the words of the late, great Lou Gehrig:
"Today...I feel like the luckiest man...in the world..."
(Yes, folks, I am way too easily amused.)
