Dedicated gaming server
Ok, so basic, What company should i buy a dedicated server?
I want to make at least a 64 slot "garry's mod" darkrp server and a 20 slot teamspeak server. Then I might get more garry'smod servers online. and the server also requires a FastDL
Where should I buy it, so where is it not too expensive and also good? I've heard some stuff about the ovh company ovh.co.uk/dedicated_servers/kimsufi.xml
But what do you suggest & howmuch ram, memory etc.

I cant comment on the server resources needed but for the actual dedicated server I would recommend either Rackspace, Rapidswitch or ovh.
Ive dealt with them all and Rackspace have the best support, ovh the cheapest but Rapiswitch has a good mix of support and price.

Where will most of your clients reside? This will make a difference for latency. Will you require any management or just hardware and network support?

With Garry's mod you're going to want to make sure you have something on 1000mbps port to help with DDOS attacks, that game is very well known for being hit with them.
I'd suggest going with a E3-1270v2 for this amount of slots.⚡️ PUREVOLTAGE.COM ⚡️Custom Dedicated Servers, Colocation, VPS Contact us: sales@purevoltage.com Skype: Mobile.Jake

You'd save a lot of money by buying a server from a GSP. The cheap dedicated servers will get you null routed, every time you get hit.

Some suggested 'must-have's to you:
1. DDoS Protection is a must due to lots of attacks lately.
2. Should have KVM/IPMI included (in case if the server freeze)
3. SSD Hard drives would be the best option for no-lag massive gaming.
4. The top CPU in this case would be Intel Six-core Xeon / Sandy Bridge
5. 1Gbps LAN port is a must (for better latency)
Get these specs and have a powerful game server that will never let you down

Most of these suggestions are actually rather pointless for what 3nforc3r was requesting.
1. The attacks that hit Garry's Mod servers can peak at multiple gigabits/s. Even with basic ddos protection you're going to be paying quite a bit for that amount of traffic. (Just nullroute it, or find a datacenter that wouldn't mind applying ACLs upon request.)
3. You don't need an SSD for SRCDS hosting.
4. A six core processor would be a waste for one Garry's Mod server. SRCDS doesn't support multicore processing.
5. 1000mbps won't improve latency, but it would allow for more traffic to the fastdl server concurrently.
