And actually I just saw them go for 75/each on ebay. Maybe those were the Atlas II's though.

sina,
they may well cost 500 when you buy them from dell or another oem, i dont believe you said this on purpose. i was just trying to make sure a newbie wandering into the thread makes an informed decision.
that aside, i will take them both for $300 via paypal. anything more wouldnt make sense because i would be better off just getting them off my lease credit line.

Might want to clarify whether you mean $300 each ($600 total) or $300 total ($150 each).

I'd pay $350 total for both drives in a second, but I doubt Sina would part with them for so little.
I just paid $310 for one of them about four months ago...can't believe how much prices have dropped suddenly.

my guess is that he/she could write the difference off as a loss and pay less taxes =] something to consider.

I should just mention 10K 73.4GB SCSI HDs go for around 150 bucks.
I'm not going to crap this thread with a link though. I had, but I retracted it.

Saying that without backing it up with a link is still crapping, worse even.
And I doubt you have a link to a 73GB Atlas 10K III for that price. If so, PM me and I'll eat crow.
