Not even 1 eNom reseller for .cn?

Even though eNom is going LIVE with .cn (not .com.cn), I haven't noticed any major player (like RegisterFly or NameCheap) offering this product. Even Tucows/OpenSRS resellers are slow in respond. I am not looking for a manual registration, I mean an automated web interface.

There is no demand. And namecheap never keep up with any new TLDs anyway.

Are you excited about the .ca launch tomorrow nameslave? What do you think the pricing will be?

By the way, registerfly were quick to add it - they are now offering .cn for $29.99

Hi nameslave,

I did have .cn enabled at one time, but as blob2 said the demand really isn't there. Checking for availability seemed to be very hit and miss in terms of connection reliability, though that may have changed since, and that resulted in availability checks slowing down considerably. Given the pros and cons it seemed better to leave things as is.

Best wishes,
Simon.

Thanks AQHost for your insider perspective. And yes, blob2, RegisterFly is REAL quick in responding. I swear they didn't have it when I posted earlier today.

I guess we'll leave the NameAlert thing to another thread, bok.

I have tried to pre-book for around 50 .cn domain names before, but all were unsuccessful. Because they were all already taken (pre-booked)!!!

I am very excited about .ca... I get to offer it to my customers and will also be able to have it for my own domains so I can finally get all my domains in one place.... I just hope the pricing is good. Like, you can get them one at a time for ~20 CDN already...
