100,000 registered users in less than 1 hour. Fastest growing startup in Internet history?
250,000 user registrations. Server capacity on maximum load. Should get better when initial frenzy is over. Wow!!

I think it will always only work on HTTPS. The main goal for this website was to be as private and encrypted as possible.

Not a bad start at all! The free publicity alone must be worth millions.

You saying 250K users within hours, prob. having like 1% of the internet already using it now, mega having more bandwidth then all of new zeland a bad start?
You have to remember, Megaupload (original) used to get 50M users a day(4% of the internet).

I question the maths. 250,000 is 1% but 50,000,000 is only 4%.
Ok then.

I think CurtisG was trying to say that Mega had 250k users within a few hours from the launch but 1% at the moment he was writing his comment.
