GreyMatter

Have any of you experienced problems with your clients running greymatter on your servers?

Does it use a huge percentage of the CPU?

And, what would you consider a reasonable CPU % usage per client?

The greymatter script is ok on rare ocassions,we have to kill the runaway process...the greymatter script.

Overall it is a well written script and doesn't use much cpu.

I would also like to see some more input on this. I am considering using Greymatter on one of my sites. Should I be looking into phpWebSite or PHPNuke, or something else instead?

Thanks, John

php nuke

If there will be a lot of your buddies posting on your news site, php nuke is the best.

For one person news/info site, more on like a personal journal, i'd go for Greymatter, reason is that if there will be a lot of peeps posting, greymatter tends to use a good % of the cpu.

Personally for low traffic go w/ Greymatter and High traffic sites ,phpNuke is the best

cheers,
elijah john
