As you may have heard in the news recently, the credit card industry is currently in the midst of some significant changes. The
card associations have clarified their rules to state that the acquiring banks which power the Planet Payment solution are only
permitted to process for online businesses located within their respective geographical regions, those regions being USA and
Europe.
We are in negotiations with acquiring banks to finalize agreements that would allow us to continue providing our services to
suppliers located within the Caribbean, Central and South American and Asia Pacific regions. At this point we are not sure when
this solution will be available.
In closing, we apologize for any inconvenience that the card associations' rulings may cause. We thank you for your interest in
Planet Payment.
