Can't think of the name of this movie...
From the '80s sometime. Guy is housesitting in this fancy house on a pedestal type base or something, sees a woman murdered in another apt. while watching looking through a telescope. Also, somewhere in the movie (another scene) he was acting in a movie or video while the song 'Relax' by Frankie Goes To Hollywood is playing.
Anyone know what the movie is?

Yeah, I got to go to one of their concerts way back when (Berlin was the band that opened for them, that was cool too), great concert! They were in this movie too, in that scene I mentioned.
But, what's the movie?

The movie: Body Double (1984)

I found this site by searching Google. I did first try allmovie.com and allmusic.com but nothing came up.

Quote from allmovie.com:
In Body Double, director Brian DePalma pays homage to the Alfred Hitchcock movies Vertigo and Rear Window, adding a few grotesque touches all his own. Craig Wasson plays Jake, a struggling actor who keeps losing jobs because of his claustrophobia. To make matters worse, his girlfriend has walked out on him, so he has no place to sleep. His pal offers him the use of his apartment for the evening. The apartment happens to be equipped with a huge picture window and telescope, enabling him to spy on his beautiful neighbor Gloria (Deborah Shelton) while she undresses. He also bears witness to her brutal murder. And then he meets a porn star (Melanie Griffith), who has just taken a job posing as the late Gloria.

YES! That's it! Thank you! It's been driving me nuts trying to think of the name of it. I had a fleeting moment where I thought Melanie Griffith was in it too, but then thought maybe not.
Curious, what did you search for to find it? I had tried a few things in a search but nothing I had used turned it up.

Believe it or not, I searched for the following on Google:

80's movies with the song Relax from Frankie Goes To Hollywood in it

It ends up being the seventh link down for me. I've done searches like that before by basically typing out the question I have and I usually come up with some good results. Glad I was able to help.

Yea Melanie Griffith is in it she plays a porn star. Great movie. I don't like buying movies on DVD (why buy instead of rent) so I only get my favorites and Body Double is one that I own. If you like that movie check out the other Brian DePalma classics (IMO): Blow out, Home Movies, and Dressed to Kill!

I've searched that way for other things, using the question for the search, for some reason didn't think to do it that way last night. DUH!
Nice relaxing putty too. lol
It IS a very good movie, haven't seen it in years. I'm going to have to buy or rent it soon so I can watch it again. I liked Blow Out a lot too. Never understood why that one didn't do well. Carrie is another of his that I really liked. I don't think I have seen Home Movies. I've seen Dressed to Kill but I don't remember much about that one.
