vBulletin 4 / Quoted Posted notifications
Is WHT going to upgrade to vBulletin 4 anytime soon?
And would it possible to integrate this plugin into WHT http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...=284521&page=3
Not all functions necessary, just when others quote your post, it shows up a notification for you as a popup on the side sort of like IP.Boards  - I think this will increase the amount of people replying to posts who don't actually subscribe to each thread

I hope they dont..... VB4 IS CRAP AND SLOW/UGLY GARBAGE and unless you wanna spend the time REWRITING EVERYTHING TO KEEP THE SAME ICONS/SMILIES,COLOURS,ETC... It just isnt worth it..... ITS TRASH!!!

Don't really care for vB4 as much as that plugin, it looks really interesting and I think it would help WHT immensely.

That plugin looks interesting, but appears to have a ton of coding problems.

Indeed that plugin is poorly coded.
However iNet have programmers working for them so why not ask these gurus to develop something like that for the WHT community?

That would be great, I know a couple of websites that custom coded plugins running on vBulletin that show a little jquery popup box when someone quotes your post, and you can close it by clicking on it or click on the link inside to open the post.
