Best Domain Registrar in WHT?
Best Domain Registrar in WHT?
I did a little homework and I found two recommended domain registrar:
1.) Namecheap.com
2.) Name.com
Are they the top best registrar here?
I excluded Godaddy.com on the list as I've heard some bad feedbacks on them.
Feel free to help us out guys.
Thanks and Happy WHT ^

I personally use namecheap. It has an easy checkout system, and everything with them is great.

With domain registrars you dont need much, just need to make sure that A.) the company has been around awhile and B.) the company has responsive customer service (in-case you ever need it). I think namecheap meets that criteria, wouldn't spend too much time trying to decide between registrars. Now web hosting, that is a different story..

Namecheap can sometimes get confusing as now I think they are a registrar they still are a ENOM reseller and a large portion of their business is via ENOM.

I hate to say it but GoDaddy is not bad for a domain registrar (yeah I said it). You can call them 24/7 and they have decent support. I would not recommend them as a host but they a big company and sell domains at a fair price.

GoDaddy still owes me 19$ and a domain name. They don't purposely hijack like people think but their service is terrible and call center is amateur at best.

I've used name.com for years now, and they've been great for me. It just works. I haven't had to contact their support but once.

I've never really had any problem with their phone support people.
You know they do have a couple of reps on WHT now that would probably look into your problem. Gabe and Mike have both given a respectable representation of the company.

personally i think godaddy is the best for price....but if you consider other free facilities like whois gard or transfer etc NameCheap is the best....i also like Name and their last website update was amazing...new site looks great and very user friendly....Name's price is similar to NameCheap i didn't find any difference....but if you compare Name with NameCheap i would say go for NameCheap....NameCheap is better and people are happy with them.....

+1 for name.com
Used them for years, a rep told me the FREEWHOIS coupon is always valid.
