I've received lots of emails from phishing sites claiming to be PayPal saying "your account has been limited". I was wondering how many people actually fall for these sites and got their account stolen, which resulted in those account being used to purchase web hosting? You can't really verify PayPal account ownership other than PayPal themselves. The most I do is to make sure they own the email address used for PayPal payments. What do you guys think about this?

2 factor authentication to protect your own account. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin?cm...outside&bn_r=o
Call verifying orders is a great way to catch fraud.

There are tons of people that fall for these emails. People these days try anything just to get anything from you it's bad.. A good thing to do with big orders from paypal payments is ask for the id and tell them it has to match paypal name if not then do not accept the order and let them go it'll save you lots of time and long head aches.

All those who received shuch emails should forward to spoof@paypal.com, at least help them disabled the phishing sites.
