MinecraftLayer was founded in 2011 by the original and current owners of NickHost.net (est. 2006) and VPSInfinity.com (est. 2011). MinecraftLayer (also known as
MCLayer) is run by experienced hosts who love Minecraft!

MinecraftLayer provides general troubleshooting and support for your server. We also offer plugin installation and configuration (request a quote through our Client Area).
Every server comes with a user-friendly control panel. These panels allow you to easily manage your server by:
- Starting and stopping your server
- Saving and backing up your world
- Updating Minecraft, Craftbukkit, etc.
- Managing plugins
- Using commands in the chat interface

FAQs
How long does server setup take?
Your VPS will be setup
INSTANTLY upon receipt of payment (unless we happen to be out of stock). If you request a MySQL database, it will be manually provisioned and setup within 24 hours.
How long does dedicated server setup take?
We will typically have your dedicated server set up within 48 hours of receiving your order, but in some cases it may take up to 8 business days (depending on stock). Contact us before ordering for a specific ETA.
How can I pay?
We accept PayPal and Google Checkout. Your players can also use our
GroupPay feature to donate funds to your account directly.
How long have you been in business?

What's the best way to get help when I need it?

How many slots/players can I have on my server?
We do not have slot limits. Please see above for our recommendations, though.
Do you have a money back policy?
Yes, we provide full refunds up to 3 days after your initial purchase. Refunds only apply to McMyAdmin VPSs, Multicraft servers, and web hosting. Please see our Terms of Service on our website.
What kind of hardware do you use?
We run our VPSs on Xeon Quad Core X3470s and E3-1230s (or better). All of our servers are on Intel SSDs and DDR3 RAM. We offer some of the best configurations for chunk loading and lag.
Can I store backups on my server?
Yes, you can store anything on your server that fits within your allocations. We also have daily, remote, automated backups for VPSs.
What OS do you use?
We use CentOS 5 64-bit on all of our VPS nodes and CentOS 6 64-bit on our Multicraft nodes.
What kind of virtualization do you use for McMyAdmin VPSs?
We only use Xen PV for our VPSs.
