Suggest A Provider For An Image Host

Hey Guys
I wanted to ask you all which host will suite my need and it doesnt have to be that expensive but it should work

Like we are thinking of starting an image host with an affiliate program and the images that will be hosted will be adult as well as non adult and we will comply on dmca requests ie delete all the images whose dmca request we receive
We wanted to try hetzner but adult content is not allowed there
we are not so sure about ovh as its also somewhat strict
So we need a budget as well as a good provider
Thank You
Yours Sincerely
Msk

Hello,
Burst and OVH are good options.

Note on Burst : You did say that you would respond to DMCAs however if you do not respond within 40 hours to DMCAs, Burst will charge you an Abuse fee.

Hello,
I cannot imagine a mature provider doing this, I only see immature resellers pulling the plug on accounts with a single DMCA unless it is 100% intentional (example : the customer uses the dedicated server to run a single Warez Website or uses the Dedicated Server for the single purpose of spamming. )

Most providers accept Adult Content, but start small. No need to jump right into a dedicated server as you dont know how popular your site will be yet. Get a VPS and adjust your needs as you grow. Most sites fail because their startup and their costs is blown way out of proportion.

I notice you mentioned OVH and Hetzner. Are you looking specially at European servers or is the USA an option?

Depending on your budget it maybe best to start off with a VPS and move your way up to a dedicated server. If you're starting a brand new website it won't have any traffic. Having a dedicated server for a website with little or no traffic is a waste of money for you.

No, OVH definitely do not delete your account when you get DMCA. I've been sending DMCAs to OVH for over a year now and they don't do sh*t. Files stay up.

Good for OVH! It's great to see a non-US provider doing nothing when DMCA's are sent. (Nothing against you, but the DMCA's only apply to the USA and I get insanely annoyed when providers in other countries act on them.)

Someone ripped our website the other year and were hosted on OVH, we couldn't get anything done. I'm opposed to copyright infringement and can't stand it when the "little guys" have their work infringed so I know how you feel.

You would think they would still respond to SOME abuse requests... while the DMCA doesn't apply there, they certainly have other copyright laws and treaties that should be honoured. *shudders*
