People just think that backlinks will increase their pagerank but they forget that only backlinks from higher page rank site can upgrade their own page.So,while doing backlink it is important to get backlinks from higher page rank site.

The biggest SEO mistake is overdoing it. There is always a focus on external myths of increasing page rank but 99 percent of it is on site.

Another biggest mistake as per me is people care more for toolbar page rank.

The biggest mistake is thinking too much about SEO. Try to think in a better way to develop good things and follow the basic rules of optimization. That will be enough to avoid errors.

Do not only use the keywords except making any meaningful sentence.This is a very big mistake and i have seen it many private blogs that people only use the keywords in the posts.Though the websites are picture based but Google penalizes this kind of activity.
