Hello, so I was wondering if anyone knows how/has any ideas on how I would be able to turn my site into a simple "Private Cloud" for myself. Something that if I were to go to my domain, it asks for log-in details, then has a nice layout where I can view all my files, and upload/download them from their, also add other users like friends. Also I could use ftp like ftp.wht.com in my client to access files as well. I would prefer something free or a one time payment. Any Ideas would be great. Thanks

Nope, I can supply those myself, I just want a something I can link my site to.

OwnCloud is probably fairly close to what you're looking for, check out http://owncloud.org/.

Its supported on most shared web hosting providers, as long as you're not storing huge volumes of files.

Not sure what are you are talking about. Perhaps some file storage website with collaborative function will work?

Sounds like some kind of file manager solution. You can find many free softwares doing the work, but the service might be hard to locate.

Are you trying to store all your data online, so you can access them from everywhere?

If so, a free or one time payment service will not work. There you might want to look at dedicated hosting or colocation.
