Q: What am I allowed to host?
A: We generally allow anything that is legal and doesn't cause any harm to our servers or others.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our
Terms and Conditions as we wouldn't want any misunderstandings.
Q: Do you provide DDoS protection?
A: Short answer:
No.
Long answer: If your site is targetted by a DDoS attack, we'll take steps to mitigate the attack.
If the attack continues to cause problems for us, your account will be temporarily suspended until the attack ends.
If your site is targetted by another attack, you will be provided with a full backup and you will be asked to leave.
Q: Do you use the LiteSpeed web server?
A: No. The LiteSpeed EULA includes a section forcing web hosts to censor content that is hosted on their servers to fit their own views.
We do not support this for both moral and business reasons.
Apache has been heavily optimized on all of our servers, so you will see increased performance without using alternative software.
Q: Do you allow adult content?
A: Legal adult content is allowed in USA and Europe.
Rape, bestiality, and/or underage pornography will result in immediate termination without refund.
No adult content is allowed in Singapore.
Q: Where can my website be hosted?

Q: How do you handle DMCA takedown notices?
A: All DMCA notices are forwarded to the client for resolution.
If you are hosting in the USA, DMCA notices must be handled according to USA law.
If you are hosting in Europe or Singapore, you are not required to follow DMCA.
This does not mean we allow unauthorized copyrighted content on our servers. We don't.
This simply means that we recognize that the USA are not world police, and we do not attempt to enforce USA laws outside the USA.
We will act on any applicable takedown notices.
Q: How can I test the speed of your servers?
A: We provide speed test files and IP addresses for ping/traceroute.

Q: Do you back up my data?
A: We take daily backups of all accounts.
However, this is not a replacement for the user's own backups.
In most cases, our backups can only be restored if there is a server failure -
not on the client's request.

A: Sure. If you can make payment through a supported payment processor, we will not discriminate based on your location.
Q: Can I use your services for mass mailing?
A: Nope.
Q: Which location should I choose?
A: The ideal location depends on the location of your target audience.
If your target audience is in USA, South/Central America, Canada, or Caribbean, you should choose the USA location.
If your target audience is in Europe, Middle East, or Africa, you should choose the Europe location.
If your target audience is in Asia, you should choose the Singapore location.
If your target audience is worldwide, you should choose either the USA or the Europe location.
Remember, you can change location at any time.
Q: Are there any speed limits?
A: There are no speed limits.
We don't mind if you download at 5Mbps, 50Mbps, or 500Mbps, as long as you keep to your transfer limit.
Q: Do you have an uptime guarantee?
A: We guarantee that your website will be available 99.9% in one month.
If a month's uptime falls below 99.9%, you are entitled to the next month free of charge.
Q: Do you have a moneyback guarantee? / Do you have a refund policy?
A: We have a no-questions-asked 30-day moneyback guarantee on all hosting services.
This excludes domain registration and applies only to new customers.
Q: Can I get a dedicated IP address?
A: Dedicated IP addresses are $2/m each.
If you are buying IPs in bulk for multiple sites we can go down to $1/m or $0.50/m each.
Dedicated IP addresses are for usage with SSL certificates.
You cannot have a dedicated IP address for "SEO" (unless you're running SSL on that site as well).
Q: Can I use CloudFlare on my website?
A: You can use CloudFlare on your website.
We use the mod_cloudflare plugin, so all of your software and logs should work flawlessly with CloudFlare.
Q: Can I use SSL on my website?
A: You can use SSL on your website.
We do not sell SSL certificates, so you will need to purchase a certificate elsewhere.
SSL certificates start at $9.99/yr, depending on the vendor and certificate type.
Once you have bought your SSL certificate, you will need a dedicated IP address (see above).
We can then install the SSL certificate on your website.
