hi, i briefly looked at the trial and noticed the script is encrypted. Is this same on the purchased one as i won't load encrypted files to my server to do a job like this

At this time WHMEasyBackup supports ftp or sftp/scp remote connections only. I know their are a few cloud storage systems that support standard protocols, I don't believe S3 does however.

WHMEasyBackup is encrypted with IonCube, the same form of encryption used by popular billing systems like WHMcs and others.

Ok, still don't like the fact that it is encrypted. this is not a major script and cheap so you should consider as this is a backup script user would want to feelsecure using it. I already have some code I found here somewhere on the forum but it does not support s3. When you have added this gives us a shout

Forgot to mention, I have a vps with wiredtree and in my WHM there is a autobackup (part of WHM) that does the same what you program does but does not have s3 which is what I am looking for

We have users that send backup files created with WHMEasyBackup to S3 via a middle man script. This might be something for you to look into in combination with the WHM backup options.

We have many users with root level access that use WHMEasyBackup in addition to the default migration tools provided by WHM/cPanel. Some use it to help in migrating inbound users with reseller access, others to backup a few specific accounts with greater frequency than is supported by the default tools.

We are looking to add an S3 script in the next release, we will add that feature to our advertisement when it is available.
