And i want to have that site use my registrars DNS. When first setting up the account, there is an option to use nameservers at the registrar.

I cold have sworn that there was a way to get that option back without deleting the account.

Alas, I cannot find it. to be clear, I simply want the option of choosing use registrar's nameservers after I had initially setup the account to use my own nameservers.

You can edit the DNS zone for that domain and set the registrar's nameservers.
