hi all
in past days i'm struggling with Debian and everyday i have something new to ask ... i want to know that if i want to install DirectAdmin on Debian, should i choose to install MySQL, Email, FTP and ... packages when installing Debian? or should i let DirectAdmin to install it's own servers (MySQL, Email, FTP and ...) and do not install these servers along with Debian?!!?

well! since no one answered me again i have to answer myself ... i looked around an found this :

Cpanel like other control panels such DirectAdmin compiles Apache, PHP and other stuff by itself to have full control on them, patch them or do whatever it need to satisfy its requirements. As for Cpanel, as I remember it removes all unnecessary stuff from server, that downloads sources from mirrors and compiles everything, as for DirectAdmin, the server should be empty for installation.
