Looking for a reliable email application that can and does poll email (pop). I setup my pop mail with the default email client that comes with the HTC/Sense but it just does not want to sync or poll any mail, I have to manually check for mail. I am sure it is setup correctly as is does poll gmail, just does not like pop mail from my cPanel accounts.

I'm using a trusty HTC Desire S.

Hello,
You may want to try the stock email application that comes with your phone (in your case, the HTC Sense email app). Try setting it up using IMAP over SSL. It should work fine.

Is there an issue with the server? Have you tried the mail settings with other email clients?
