End of this year likely, because that's on par with how often OS' are released. I've not read of any new news regarding Windows 8 for tablets, which I think Microsoft will shoot themselves in the foot with later - it's the only usable platform for it and it seems to be the least talked about.

Windows 8 is good for Touch screen Devices.
I use Windows 8 OS on Virtual server.

Businesses avoided it, stayed at Windows XP until Windows 7 came to the rescue.

will be released by this year end with loaded of new attractive features. Screen touch sensing may be one of the features to input the personal PCs.
