Where should I start?

Hello, I am researching in starting a web hosting business specializing in dedicated servers and vps's.

I have experience with selling vps slots on a server, I am great with support and I am a level 80 mage at shell.

I will probably start by renting dedicated servers and then expand to colocation once I have 10+ servers. The problem is I have no experience with colocation.

So my question is, are there any websites/guides/books on colocation?

If you are good with providing services - why not to try with burstnet (for dedi and vps) or vps6 (vps). They have very nice budget prices, plus attractive discounts for resellers.

You can get dedi from burstnet and provide your own super support to make clients happy

Regarding colohosting - check out WHT "colohosting" section. But first, would be better to check out any nearby datacenters and get their papers / terms etc and do your numbers right. Colohosting is more or less the same as handling Dedicated servers. the difference - you are responsible for hardware and have to run to datacenter to replace failed hard drive etc.

Good luck!

I don't think people understood what I was trying to ask.

I am trying to find a guide or book on colocation, I am not looking for a colocation provider, at least not at the moment.
