I was wondering if some modernbill users would mind logging into my just installed modernbill and tell me if your installation loads as slow as mine.

A customer on a dial up connection will never see the pages load properly!!!

The DolphinX theme is great, but too complicated and graphics intensive.

I suggest: making a new theme less graphics intensive, or switching the default to DolphinXLite.

Have you made or know anyone who has made a theme for it? I'd be interested to see how much is involved.

I just purchased ModernBIll and have not looked into it much yet. I will most likely design a less graphical theme and release it, in a couple weeks.

Its not all THAT complicated, Open include/config/themes/DolphinXLite and look through the files yourself and you'll see.

do you need to get the developer license to do that or will the standard license work?

You can create themes with any licence, except Trial

We recently did a color converion of the DolphinX theme (GreenX) and yea its really graphic intense. There are a few hundred images in there. Even the lite is graphical, from what I see a new theme is relatively easy but its digging through the files to see how it works is what is hard.

DolphinX is extremely intensive. This is the sole reason we scrapped modernbill.

But why make it so intensive? Not to mention the fact that ceonex(pixelbrick) does not impress me at all if this is the quality of their designs for web sites. Yes it is pretty but no it is not functional.

Well we're going to start looking at making our own skin since this slow loading problem seems to be universal.
