Very Bad experience VolumeDrive.

Hi Friends.

Day 17 - 03 - 2012 - They Block External Port .. because I received ddos attacks

Day 18 - 03 - 2012 - they respond... "The port should be back on now."

Day 19,20,21,22,23,24 - 03 - 2012 ... the port remains blocked. and have not responded but my emails of support.

VolumeDrive = SCAMMER!

What online game you are using for your servers ?
Many ddos will be target to the online game server.

How do you know this?

I'm sorry, but I'm always skeptical of those that join the forum simply to post a bad review, and something just seems fishy here.

Depending on the type of attack, it will not always crash a server. A pure bandwidth based attack will generally leave the server running as normal, network connections just bog down/lag out.

It makes perfect sence to suspend you if you are getting a ddos that saturates the line.

Online games (Garrysmod and tf2) are HUGE targets for script kiddes to ddos.

I am surprised they did not just completely null your ip.

They removed the server most likely cause you were rude and or threatened them.

Ontop of all that, it IS fishy you joined just to review them.

It makes perfect sense to null the IP, not completely suspend the server. Any site can recieve an odd DDoS attack, its rare for a host to immediately suspend you because of it. Of course, if there were lots of DDoS attacks that weren't mentioned by the OP then its a different matter.

That's quite a big assumption.

I wouldn't say that, many people join purely to make bad (and good) reviews, then stay on and become active members of WHT.

Your right, I wen't overboard and started making empty claims. Sorry about that.

But then again OP used "scammer" and that is also a HUGE assumption.
