Does anyone have any information about DNS robot service of Hetzner? I am a bit confused here, and didn't found any real explanatory document about it, I checked wiki also.

So here is the story,

At Linode, they offer you DNS management screen, where I can add my domains, and change their dns info etc.

I am wondering if Hetzner offers same kind of stuff? Right now I am using Cloudflare but planning to change it to a normal thing.

So how can I do it? I don't want to install a dns service on my server, just wondering how can I sort this out.

The DNS in the robot is for configuring Reverse DNS entries. Those are needed if you with to run your own nameservers.

The easiest solution if you do not have a control panel is to simply use the DNS panel at your domain registrar to point them to your server IP.

Hi,
Please note that the DNS robot at Hetzner cost money. As far as I remember it is about 1 Euro or half Euro every month for each domain you use the robot for.

Are you having any issues with CloudFlare? Just curious as to why you want to change.

Hi,
The robot at Hetzner is very simple to use. You simply add the domain and the IP address you are hosting it on. Anyhow, if you have any problem you can open a ticket. They usually respond very fast and are very efficient.
