Looking for unmetered Bandwidth VPS
Hello,
One friend of me is asking me if he can get a VPS with unmtered bandwidth.
He will using this VPS as a VPN server. Not much info from him, because he is gonna make it a test / trial with Linux ( first time in Linux)
So, maybe some of the requirements :
- Disk Space 10GB
- Memory 128 MB - 256 MB
- OpenVZ / XEN
- Tun/Tap and Iptables enabled
- Unmetered bandwidth: it's 5mbps or 10mbps or 100mbps does not matter
- Budget is $5 - $10 / month
- US or Europe as long as it's fast to Asia / Indonesia
He is asking unmetered because he don't want to be charged for overage bandwidth. Altough it maybe not more than 500GB.
He said it maybe for streaming or something.
Would someone suggest some host for this?

Although I already have some VPS's with high bandwidth, I still want to test it for several months before I can say "They're good" to another people

Thank you for the recommendation
I already have a VPS6 running last week.
And also I already have SemoWeb with 10TB bandwidth which running nicely, although having huge bandwidth, but it seems like I never can use all of it . 100GB/month is too much for me
But I will test all of them for several months and then recommended it to my friend

Hello, glad to hear your happy with our service, why doesn't your friend start off with a vps that has a huge allocation of bandwidth and see if it works out since his utilization is unknown at this time, additionally vps will suspend once the allocation has been reached not allowing for overages which is good for the client and also allows them to upgrade if needed, that is for most vps providers in regards to suspending before overages just check with them first.
Best of luck.

Hello,
I have 2 vps from the offer .
Maybe I will try to let him use one of it. Since the VPS will be suspended after the maximum bandwidth reached, maybe it's a good for him to try.
Currently, this is my lists, but maybe it will be added more later.
- SemoWeb 10TB
- FanaticalVPS
- PuttHosting

what sort of amount of bandwidth? Majority of VPS providers do provide from 500GB of bandwidth, normally on average website (without video/music) consume around 10GB per month.

I suggest you do some math.
Unmetered 100mbps is 32TB/month. Such offerings are usually priced accordingly. Do you seriously think you're going to hit such heights?
There's unmetered 10mbps and 1000mbps and other flavors - the term "unmetered bandwidth" is kind of meaningless. I'll give you unmetered 300 baud if you want.
