    Software RAID 1

Hi, i got a fail disk, and i have added back the array. Is there any problem with the device number?

    md0 : active raid1 sda1[2] sdb1[1]

    it was previously at

    md0 : active raid1 sda1[0] sdb1[1]

How can i change the device number?

    Thanks guys.

I guess sda was the failed disk? You're mirroring partitions, not whole disks. It really shouldn't matter since the raid seems healthy. If you want to "fix" this and change sda1[2] to be sda1[0], you'll have to break the raid by removing sda, destroy the partition table on sda, and recreate it. When that's done you can re-add sda[0] as the "new" disk and resync.
