    Warning: Galaxy-Webhost.com - A completely fraudulant company

    Members,

    I have seen Galaxy-WebHost.com advertising in this forum.

    I want to take the time to warn everyone here that this company is an absolute fraud, and to stay away from them.

    On February 16th, we ordered a dedicated server from this company for use with our VPN product that we provide. It was ordered through online chat, and 3 months prepayment was given. The server was promised in 24 hours by the sales staff on the chat. Our IP justification was given with the order.

    On February 22nd, they company finally gets back to us asking for our company papers, they were given the same day.

    On February 25th, after numerous attempts on live chat to get our server, we requested a refund.

    On February 28th, we filed a Paypal claim with the following history:

    Mar 9, 2012 - PayPal: Email sent to seller
    Mar 9, 2012 - PayPal: Email sent to buyer
    Mar 9, 2012 - Buyer: Dispute escalated to claim
    Mar 6, 2012 - PayPal: Email sent to seller
    Mar 6, 2012 - PayPal: Email sent to seller
    Feb 28, 2012 - PayPal: Email sent to seller
    Feb 28, 2012 - PayPal: Email sent to buyer
    Feb 28, 2012 - Buyer: Dispute filed

    Meantime, here are the responses that we get from the company (most of them 48 hours after we email)

    Feb 27
    "We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused, I am forwarding this issue to our senior admins and they will get back to you soon on this. Please standby."

    Feb 28
    "I am escalating this issue to our concern dept and they will get back to you soon on this. Please standby."

    Feb 29
    "We have assigned your ticket to our concerned person now and he will get back to you shortly. Please standby."

    March 1
    "Thank you for contacting in. We have forwarded your issue at our billing admins and they will get back to you shortly regarding same. Please do get back for further assistance. "

    March 1
    "Refund should be processed soon."

    March 5
    "I notice you have a dispute open with paypal. We can not refund if a dispute is open with paypal."

    March 7
    "We will call paypal and let them do that. The paypal your sending to is basically a payment processor paypal. "

    March 8

    "Thank you for contacting in. We have forwarded your issue at our billing admins and they will get back to you shortly regarding same. Please do get back for further assistance."


    Anyone that is thinking or using this company should get away from them ASAP so the same thing does not happen to you. They are taking peoples money and not providing any product in return.

    They have a "concern dept" and a "concerned person" as well...

    Well that's the problem.. they only have one "Concerned person" ..

    I got wrangled from them also - paypal dispute.. never received server.

    I also think they need to be banned from WHT.

    Here is the latest response from them. Instead of refunding the money, we are referred to their "terms of service". Unbelievable.

    Sorry it does not sound fun hopefully they will refund you though I doubt it.

    Refunds for dedicated servers are sometimes hard to get.
    But in this case you did not even get the server!

    Are there other tickets, because from what you posted, they do not even look like they want to provide the server.

    No they do not even want to provide the server. They took the three months payment and thats all. No server, no refund, no nothing. I am hoping that Paypal will rule in my behalf regarding the dispute as this company is clearly fraud.

    I bought this server from a WHT advertisement. I really do hope they block any future advertisements from this fraud to prevent this fraud from happening to other people on this forum.

    still no refund from them. I think that they are having financial problems. Current customers better get their data while they can.

    I would suggest requesting a chargeback from your credit card provider if PayPal don't decide in your favor.

    Was paid from our Paypal Balance. I wish we could file a chargeback.

    I just got my $14.47 back the other day through a paypal dispute They didn't even respond to paypal during the whole month ordeal!

    yay justice!

    They haven't responded in 1 month to my dispute either. I hope that paypal decides in my favor as well as my amounts is much larger

    Once they do not respond paypal will rule in your favour because the service provider did not defend the claim or provide proof of their defence.

    Well - I got notice from Paypal that they ruled in our Favor, but since Galaxy-WebFraud does not have any money in their Paypal, they cannot give our money back. Let's see if they can collect it from them ..

    What does WHT usually in these situations? If it is truly a fraudulent company and not simply business problems on their end, and if you ordered from them based on ads in on this site then WHT should be doing something to block/ ban them from advertising. Any clue how other fraudulent ads on this site have been handled in the past?
