Backup database to shared host?
I am currently running mysql on a dedicated server. What is a good way to make periodic backups of this database to a shared hosting account?

Create a custom script to backup database and ftp it to the backup server, in this case, the shared server

In fact it is not recommend to backup it to shared account. Dedicated backup service is more reliable.
