    Server down - WorldStream

    This is not the first time my server is down.
    It has been down before too for several hours.

    Currently, it's down from 3 hours and no reply from support department.
    Customers are getting angry with me.
    What to do ?

    Hello,

    Did you try to give them a call and discuss this issue per phone? I have read many reviews from them and not all of them were happy reviews.

    If you are thinking this is not a good provider for you, you can transfer your server in other datacenter.

    Depending on what SLA you agreed to, you could be out of hope on a reply in the weekend (out of (Dutch) office hours --> Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

    The number of hosts that meet that requirement is too big. Could you at least specify some desired specs, budget, location, content that's being hosted by you etc?
    Server needs to be in europe.
    Minimum 8 GB ram, i5 processor and 10 TB + traffic.
    Budget would be around $150-$200.
    I currently pay $150 per month for WorldStream's server.

    You could check out snelserver.com, i was an ex-WorldStream customer and i am very happy with SnelServer however note that SnelServer also don't have support on weekends officially.

    Just to clarify: we do have 24/7 support, but only for issues on our infrastructure (like network downtime).
    All other issues should be no problem for the customer to resolve because of the KVM and rescue mode.

    Well most of the Netherlands providers do not provide support on weekends, but after asking for your log in details, they are supposed to reply. Atleast with what is causing the problem or simply reply what they can do or cannot do.

    Check out the offer section and chat with some providers and ask if they provide 24x7 support, if not consider hiring a third party server management company for situations like this. If you wanna move, do your research and move to a provider which suits your requirements.
