Exclamation Hetzner Server Bidding Auction Site

    Hello,

I have just come across this new thing which Hetzner is now doing called "Server Bidding".

Basicly they have afew servers and its a dutch auction.

Leased servers auctioned at affordable prices:

Prices only go down here, not up!

Great savings to be made, if you strike at the right time! It's this easy: Just enter your desired hardware specification in the online marketplace, view the offers, keep an eye on details of the next change in price - and when the moment is right, snap up your offer!

But, don't wait too long or somebody else might beat you to the bargain!
This platform auctions models of server for rental with used hardware in the form of a "Dutch Auction". The prices for the servers offered are periodically lowered within a defined timeframe. All available rental servers are displayed. However, it is possible for you to set criteria in order to narrow down the selection. All offers are for servers for hire.
    Take a look: http://serverbidding.com/

    Regards,

It really not that great, prices only drop to a certain level, most of the machines are fairly low end and there is a setup fee equal to the price of the server. Ok if your looking for something of that type but the main site servers are actually better specs and cheaper.

Note to all: Please remember that not all scenarios need HDD level availability.

Better not have a new one pop every 3 days!

Might want to keep an eye on the fact that there is a difference in bandwidth in comparison to the normal offerings. Normally you get the full port speed till you have used 10TB, while on these the limit is at 5TB.
